The Coop Scoop®

Love this new pooper scooper for my sand coop. Used it for the first time today to sift out straw from the sand floor and it worked so well. (I put down a layer of straw in the winter time to keep the ladies’ feet from getting too cold.) Excited to try it when there is no straw. I also have bantam chickens and it picked up the majority of poop, I’d been using a metal cat litter box scooper that was a lot smaller. I do wish this scooper came in a metal version too. I know it would make it heavier, but it might cut through the sand easier. Thoughts on version 2.0?

My coop scoop is awesome and is making cleaning so much easier. I have 20 chickens and have a very large covered run for them. The coop scoop makes cleaning out the sand so much easier and more efficient! The girls and I love it and are so appreciative!! Thank you!

I really like this scoop. It is light and easy to use, and sifts out the sand and coffee grounds I use for bedding while not letting too much poop get through the holes like the slotted scoops do. It is well made, not flimsy at all, and I love the rake part. I do need a shorter handle for some areas of my coop, so I am ordering a second Coop Scoop that I will shorten the handle on a bit so it is easier to manage in those areas. I am happy to spend a more on American designed and made products to support the economy. Thanks for a great product!

I love how it catches the smaller poops too

This scooper superceeded all of my expectations!! It works so much better than my horse scoop. It gets into small nooks and crannies, the sand sifts through and holds all the chicken poop. I will be buying another one!!!!

I absolutely love the Sifting Shovel! When I received it I took it straight out to the coop and tested it out. I loved it so much that when I went back into the house I ordered another to use outside in the run. It came packaged so nice and did not need to put anything together. Simple but amazing! We were very excited when our coop scoop arrived. How cool was it to watch this awesome idea come to life! It is perfect! You can tell that a lot of "chicken scooping" thought went into this. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect coop poop scoop since the beginning of our chicken extravaganza and I finally found it!!! The length is perfect! It is light weight so scooping with one hand is easy. The scoop design is the best as it allows the sand through the spaces and it is deep enough that I don’t have to dump my findings after every scoop 🤣 and can pick up the whole run (10’x16’) without dumping!!! Nice work and thank you!!! Can’t wait to see and try out everything else you create!!

No more bending and no more too-big-scoop!! A dirty job done in much less time without the achy back.

The Coop Scoop works great for separating the poop from the sand with minimal waste. It saves my back from all the bending that was necessary with the long handled cat litter scoop. This is an excellent tool to have in my coop.

I am SO excited about this product! I’ve tried shovels, hoes, hand held scoops, it all to get the run clean and it’s always such a pain and ends up wasting so much substrate! This scoop is a game changer- it picks up poop and feathers while allowing sand or dirt to sift out- no waste! (pun intended!) Thank you for creating this for us chicken lovers!!! 10/10!

I’m obsessed 😂 I ran out to clean the coop as soon as my coop scoop arrived and it was perfect. I’ve tried different scoops - even drilled holes in a shovel to customize the holes specifically for what I needed but it was SO heavy. This coop scoop is so lightweight, sifts through the sand perfectly, and it’s even cute 😂 Definitely recommend!

I love the Coop Scoop. It allows me to quickly scoop poop without bending over. The angle is perfect for scooping in the sand of my run. The big size means I only have to dump the waste once.

The anticipation of the Coop Scoop was killing me. When I got it, it was well worth the wait. I have used every scoop you could think of. I owned 5. This is everything anyone would need to scoop the Coop or run if you have sand like me. Not only is it easier, but I don’t waste sand anymore. The ergonomics and holes are perfect. My wife and I now gently argue about who gets to scoop. It is actually fun believe it or not. The rake makes things even easier as I don’t have to bring 2 tools in to coop. Thank you so much for this scoop. We love it.
